Diamond Sander Belts have a much longer life than standard silicon carbide belts. They have approximately 25x to 50x the life of a silicon carbide belt, depending on the user and product being ground. The diamond doesn't break down like the silicon carbide, so the belts maintain their cutting ability for longer.
